Riverview Country Club offers two types of membership:
Social/Pool and Regular Golf/Social/Pool. There are a variety of
categories which determine the cost of the membership according
to age and family status. We also have Noon Luncheon and Corporate
memberships available to area businesses.
Our initiation fee and dues are very competitive
in comparison to other private clubs of our caliber.
There are nine classes of membership in the club
- Regular, Single Parent with Family Minimum, Senior, Special Social,
Social, Junior, Non-Resident, Honorary, and Limited. Individuals
are duly elected to their membership classification by the Board
of Directors. Husband and Wife are referred to as family members
and each is a member of the club. They must have the same classification
and neither can join the club without the other. Widows, single
persons, etc. are referred to as single members.
Regular, Senior, Junior, Non-Resident, Honorary,
and Limited Members and their unmarried children under the age
of 25 years, and residing with their parent members are entitled
to the privileges of the Clubhouse, Swimming Pool and Golf Course.
In addition, grandchildren of these members, under the age of 18,
will have unlimited use of the golf course, paying normal guest
fees and unlimited use of the swimming pool without paying guest
fees.
Senior Members are regular members who are at
least 65 years of age.
Junior Members may be individuals at least 18
and not more than 34 years of age. They shall become Regular Members
on January 1st following the head of the household's attainment
of age 34.
Non-Resident Members are those whose legal residence
is outside the boundaries of the State of Wisconsin.
Social Members and their unmarried children under
the age of 25 years, and residing with their parent members are
entitled to the privileges of the Clubhouse and Swimming Pool.
Social Members may play golf a maximum of three times during the
golfing season with payment of green fees. Golfing will be limited
to open play and club events but will not include league events.
Social members will not qualify for guest privileges once they
use their three regular golf times. In addition, their children
of Junior age, may participate in the Junior Golf Program on Junior
Golf days only.
Single parent members with unmarried children
under the age of 25 who wish to utilize the club are subject to
paying either Single Regular or Single Junior dues, and a family
minimum
Limited Memberships are available to corporations
and the clergy. Corporations may make application for three or
more single or family units. The corporation must be a bona fide
company, and the units must be current employees, paid consultants
or board directors of the corporation. The units of the corporation
will be entitled to all privileges of the club in accordance with
the head of the household's age. In other words, units equal to
and in excess of 34 years of age will be treated as regular members
and those less than 34 years of age will be treated as junior members.
There are restrictions as to the number of current RCC members
who can be included in a corporate membership application. If you
are considering forming a Corporate membership with current RCC
members, please contact the Club office for the restrictions. Corporate
membership units will be limited to 70% of the total of all non-corporate
membership units.
Limited memberships are also available on a noon
luncheon basis, entitling the user to use only the clubhouse facilities
from 11:30 A.M. to 2:00 P.M., Monday through Friday (excluding
holidays).
Regular Members may become Special Social Members
provided they meet certain requirements as set forth in the Club's
By-Laws.
Regular, Senior and Special Social Members have
the right to one vote, and hold office. Junior members have the
right to 1/2 vote and hold office.
Membership is terminated by death, voluntary withdrawal
or expulsion and thereafter all the rights and privileges of the
member cease.
If a member in good standing makes a change in
membership status from any Regular status to Social, the member
must remain at the social status for a twelve month period from
the date the change of status occurs. If the member would like
to change back to a Regular membership within the specified twelve
month period, the member would be required to pay any dues and
CIF in arrears from the original change in status date.
